Quality Assurance

As a successful small business, quality assurance is a critical element of CESI continued satisfaction of customer requirements.

Our Quality Assurance (QA) Plan establishes procedures, metrics, and standards to ensure that we meet customer quality requirements and regulatory requirements, while continually improving company performance. As cornerstone of its quality program, CESI actively underwent preparation and evaluation for a formal Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) appraisal. In August, 2014, CESI processes were independently assessed as CMMI Maturity Level 3 (ML3) compliant. Through these experiences, we have implemented and matured processes, automated tools and built a web-based portal specifically designed to support our contracts. Performance metrics will be based on contract and specification requirements. The CESI Program Manager has the responsibility to ensure that requirements are understood, documented and communicated to the program team, including subcontractors. CESI’s QA policies and procedures require that work be organized, staffed, and monitored to meet customer requirements and expectations.
