Cole Engineering Delivers OneSAF International Version 6.1 Battalion Product.The Cole Engineering Services, Inc. (CESI) One Semi-Automated Forces (OneSAF) Team recently delivered OneSAF Version 6.1 software to the Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI).
OneSAF International Version 6.1 is a training product focused on Battalion Echelon Operations, supporting Battalion level staff training which enables virtual training and Mission Command systems interoperability and fair fight.
"The release of OneSAF International Version 6.1 represents a major milestone in the OneSAF program," said Thomas Fransson, CESI's OneSAF Program Manager. "With an innovative approach to training we have successfully delivered a stable, reliable product with greatly simplified user interfaces, expanded virtual and C4I systems interoperability, tailored to meet Battalion staff training needs. We are expanding our Fielding and Training Team to meet the growing domestic and global demands for product deployment, training and sustainment."
OneSAF International Version 6.1 is planned for distribution to the international community in June 2014. At the ITEC conference in May in Cologne, Germany, CESI will be demonstrating the enhanced web based front-end user interface, scenario development, and AAR tools. New OneSAF capabilities will also be demonstrated, including the Unit Level Entity (ULE) aggregation feature.
